About Us
Vision
We are a not-for-profit and non-political organization devoted to helping the poor families rise out of poverty by providing Health & Education program, Housing improvement and Water and Sanitation program, specialized Shari’ah Financing products and services, in order to improve the quality of life in the most cost-effective and sustainable manner.
Our Missions
AMENA Foundation has made its commitment to three sectors. The first is a commitment to the marginalized poor sector for which the Foundation is organized and exists. The second commitment is to the staff members who are dedicated to the Foundation’s mission. We are also committed to making our founders’ and patrons’ vision a reality. To these ends, we shall:
- 1. Deliver the Health and Education program, Housing improvement and Water and Sanitation program and Shari’ah Financing program like Murabaha, Ijara and Qard al Hasan to the poor through the enterprising women of the family.
- 2. Create the best place to work in, where every staff member has the chance to live in dignity, develop a career path and have the fulfillment of changing lives of the poor and their own as well.
- 3. Be self-sustained and be the best managed Sharia’ah Financing institution in Bangladesh.
In order to achieve these missions, Shari’ah Financing is the prime program component of the Foundation. As Shari’ah Financing requires very strict implementation systems and policies, this vision and missions will be the guiding principle for all staff to implement the program as expected.
